GLOW IN THE DARK EASTER EGG HUNT

I am always looking for fun ways to teach the faith to my son. I have never seen this done before and thought of this idea as I was in the 99 Cent Store.  So for a little over 5 bucks we are going to have some “Glow In The Dark Fun” and at the same time tie in this fun with the the real meaning of Easter.  Jesus is LIGHT of the world and He overcame the darkness of sin by His death on the Cross. So on Saturday night, Easter Vigil, we are going to be on an adventure to find some… GLOW IN THE DARK EGGS! Woo Hoo!

It shouldn’t be that hard to find the eggs but I am sure it will be a lot of fun. The best part is the conversations we can have about Jesus and the teaching that can be done in this moment.

I am taking the time to share this because I am thinking there are a lot of other kids and parents that can share this fun teaching moment together as well. So if your up for it this is all you will need to make it happen.

1. Some glow in the dark bracelets or necklaces – the bendable kind.

2. Some plastic eggs – the kind that open up.

3. Some ridiculously strong hands to break the bracelets and bend them to put them in the eggs and close them up. haha –  Just kidding. It’s not hard at all. :)

After you break and bend them they will look something like this image below.

Again I got about 24 eggs and enough glow in the dark bracelets to put in each of them for a little over $5.00 at the 99 Cent Store.

For a little added sweetness to the fun you can add some Jelly Beans or some other little treat and put them in the glowing eggs.

And that’s it! Now go and have fun and teach the awesome love of Jesus to God’s little beautiful children!

P.S. Don’t forget to SHARE THIS! This could have a HUGE impact on some child, and their parents, and their relationship with Jesus… simply because you took the time to share.

May you have a Blessed and Holy Easter! – Jesus I Trust In You!
